JAMES R. "JT" TAYLOR

Mr. Taylor, Managing Partner, is the former President and CEO of Washington-based think tank, Empower America. In this role, Taylor oversaw strategic policy objectives, research and communications strategy, and overall operations. His career has spanned both the executive and legislative branches, as well as, various positions in Washington institutions. Under Taylor 's leadership and vision, Empower America built an extensive network of relationships with key lawmakers, organizations and leaders in the business, technology and education industries, which defined Empower America as the preeminent public policy organization in Washington, DC .

Mr. Taylor was formerly Vice-President of Corporate Communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where he established the communications department and directed the development of key Chamber initiatives and long-term communications strategies. Prior to his role as Vice President, Taylor served as a key lobbyist for the Chamber, where he acted as one of their chief liaisons to Congress.

Additionally, Mr. Taylor served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC) during her tenure in the House of Representatives. He has also served as a senior aide to Secretary Jack Kemp during both the 1996 presidential campaign and Kemp's full term as HUD secretary under President George H.W. Bush.
